The smell of flowers, the pink and greenish colors, and the sweet spring environment penetrate very intensely every time ‘Girona Temps de Flors’ comes. The monuments, backyards and gardens of the city are covered with flowers of all kinds, offering a vision of a tale that attracts people from all over the world.
This international festival, created in 1954, is a mandatory stop for all those who love gardening and for lovers of the beauty of nature. To enjoy the most spectacular floral exhibits and decorations, it is essential to visit the Girona Cathedral, the Gironella tower, the Germans’ gardens, the Arab baths of the city, the Lleó Avinay house or the Plaça dels Jurats.
On this occasion, the 63rd edition of the flower festival takes place between the 12th and 20th of May 2018. Taking advantage of the initiative #Gastroflors, in which the different leisure and gastronomy establishments in the city make different proposals where the flowers are the real protagonists, the Draps has created a special menu for these important dates.
